Originally founded in 1906 as “Pensionshaus Hasselhof”, our hotel is one of the renowned traditional hotels in Braunlage. With great attention to detail, we completely renovated the building between 2020 and 2022, transforming it into a haven of peace and relaxation.

Our exceptionally quiet location and the short walking distance to the center of Braunlage will also delight you.

Our guest rooms are bright and airy with floor-to-ceiling windows and feature a private terrace or balcony with an idyllic view of the garden. The light-filled, comfortably heated indoor swimming pool, which offers a direct view of the garden, is an absolute highlight. Further relaxation is provided by our small sauna – which is also completely heated with renewable energy. Our new rustic lounge is especially popular, offering you a cozy place to unwind.

As a Hotel Garni, we offer a varied breakfast buffet featuring fresh and regional products.

We are a small but fine establishment! Our guests particularly value the peace and relaxation we provide, and we are committed to maintaining this unique atmosphere. For this reason, we generally do not accept group bookings (except possibly for quiet family groups, but only upon request). Additionally, we are an adults-only hotel and are therefore not suitable for small children.

Please note that we are a completely non-smoking hotel. This applies to the rooms as well as the balconies, terraces, and parking areas.

Dogs are welcome only by prior registration (please also refer to our dog guidelines).
